My name is George, I’m 38 and I live in Unanderra, NSW.

I had been living a very unhealthy lifestyle for way too long. I was working night shifts so my sleep patterns were terrible and I was always tired. I had fallen into a bad pattern of eating the wrong foods and going to bed straight after a big unhealthy meal. I have since changed my work routine and no longer work night shifts. Working day shifts have made the program so much easier to follow. My overall health and mental health have improved dramatically.

Convenience foods are often not good choices and I was constantly making those bad choices.

I was watching “The Benchwarmers” podcast which happens to be sponsored by The Man Shake and they were talking about The Man Shake. One of the hosts said something that hit me hard! He said, “You can’t put a price on your life, so just jump in and give it a go.”

It was then and there I put my weight loss plan into action and jumped straight online to purchase my first weight loss pack.

When I first decided to start, I wrote a list of goals that I had for myself and my main goal was and always will be to be alive to walk my only daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, to do that I had to lose weight, eat healthy and get active. On top of that, I didn’t want to be the fat Dad when my son starts high school next year. I was also sick and tired of shopping in the big men’s section of the clothing stores. I can now buy t-shirts from all my favourite breweries which is something I have always wanted to do.

I previously tried losing weight by skipping meals, which I now know does not work but other than that I never really had the willpower to try anything else. I no longer skip meals and I feel so much better for it.

I started The Man Shake rapid weight loss program only 23 weeks ago and I have lost a total 40.2kgs!!

My life has changed dramatically and people compliment me on how good I am looking and how much weight I have lost. I don’t sweat as I used to and I used to snore really badly I also had sleep apnea, I no longer snore and now get peaceful deep sleep. I also no longer stop breathing in my sleep which is something that affects a lot of overweight people.

I also now walk for FUN! I walk 3-4 times a week and I love it. My job is also very physical so that helps with getting my daily steps up.

I recommend The Man Shake program because you can and will lose weight while still enjoying foods you love. Once a week myself and my wife have a treat meal which includes a meal we have been craving and a few drinks. I choose quality beers over quantity on our treat meal day. So I feel like I’m not missing out on anything.

The Man Shake has taught me how to make healthier options and count calories so I can stay in a calorie deficit to lose weight. I still have a little way to go before I hit my goal weight but once I get there, I will still have a breakfast shake and continue to make healthier options to help me maintain my weight. I have worked so hard and I refuse to go back into old habits.

If I can do this anyone can, so if you are thinking about starting the program, make yourself a list of goals to achieve and hold yourself accountable to accomplish them!  Just jump in and do it. Your life will change for the better.
