Trent lost a mind blowing 72kg and gained a new outlook!

My name is Trent, I am 28 and live in Brisbane, Queensland.
To date, I have lost 72Kg from a starting weight of 200Kg. I’ve Been big for as long as I can remember, I don’t think there has ever been a time I was the correct weight for my age and height. I didn’t care about myself and food was a way for me to cope with things in life.
If I didn’t want to deal with a problem, I would lock myself away and eat a whole bucket of KFC. That was how I dealt with my problems – Eating and hoping they would go away.
Because of that way of life, I developed health issues such as Sleep Apnea, Carpal Tunnel, and constant joint and back pain.
If I was to pinpoint the moment that made me want to make the change… It would have to be just after Queensland came out of the first lockdown back in July 2020.
A bunch of mates told me they had all decided it was time to start losing weight. I wasn’t sure at first but when I looked at myself than sitting at 200kg! I asked myself “Why not give it go?”
For me, it’s to stay alive. To finally enjoy what life has waiting for me. Losing all this weight and being healthy was originally just for myself but now over time it has become something more, I want to do this for the people I care about.
One of my best mates Karl told me about how he was going to be using The Man Shake to help with his weight loss journey. He suggested I give it a try and well and here I am over a year later!
I’ve never tried losing weight until now because I just didn’t care about my health. I have signed up to gyms in the past but that never lasted.
I’ve found that my posture has changed, I’m standing straighter my joints and back don’t hurt as much. I’m breathing a lot better as I’m not constantly wheezing when I breathe.
These changes have had a massive effect on how I feel, I’m a lot more confident in many things I do and I’m making leaps and bounds in my personal and work life.
My mental health was and still is the biggest roadblock for me to tackle and make this change to lose weight and be healthier. I wouldn’t say I’ve completely overcome it yet but I’m now at the summit and I looking down - man is it a good view.
As a shift worker it was difficult to work out the best way to fit The Man Shake into my work schedule. Though I found a way, on my day shifts and days off I do 8/16 intermittent fasting mainly having 2 shakes, 2 snacks and one meal over an 8-hour period.
On my night shifts I moved to OMAD (One Meal A Day) I have one healthy meal that hits around 1000 calories and then I try to fast over a 24-hour period. Though if I do get a little hungry, I always reach for The Man Bar or anything small and light to snack on. This schedule has worked out very well for me.
The Man Shake offers great value, along with the product there is an awesome community out there to help encourage you and keep you motivated to continue your weight loss journey.
I’ll continue using The Man Shake to help continue my weight loss and to help maintain my weight. I find it easy to use and it helps to have a shake when you’re on the go!
Make the change, it is worth it for yourself and for those you care about! Weight loss isn’t a 100-meter dash, it is a marathon! Don’t be discouraged if you have an off day, keep going and you will see that it is all worth it! It’s never too late to make then change!
