I think working in security has really damaged my health. I work late nights so there is very few healthy options for dinner at 3am. Combine that with sitting in the car for long periods of time and it really made me stack on the kilos.

The significant moment for me came when I saw a photo of myself with my partner. I didn’t like what I saw and knew I had to do something about it.

Getting started

A friend who uses The Man Shake suggested I give it a go and I’m so glad I did. I have tried other shakes and fat burners in the past but nothing ever worked or was sustainable.

Doing shift work, I thought Man Shake would be hard to fit in with my work but it’s so easy. I mix two shakes the night before work then throw them in my bag in the morning and they’re ready to drink. It’s much easier than I was expecting. My favourite flavours are choc and caramel too.

I have lost 20kg in 6 months with The Man Shake

My lifestyle has changed so much since losing the weight. The way I chose food, the food I eat, the amount of food, it’s all changed to much healthier options.

The biggest difference now that I’ve lost the weight has been my energy levels. I feel like I have so much more energy and no longer feel bloated and exhausted all the time. I’ve found The Man Shake fills me up and gives me the energy hit I need to get through the day.

The biggest roadblock to losing weight for me was the mental stage. You have to stick with it and when you feel like giving up you need to push yourself that little bit more to get through it. I listened to all of Adams podcasts and he has some great tips on there to help get you through.

If someone is out there thinking about starting, what would you say to them to motivate them?

I would say get started and don’t put it off any longer you will feel much better for it. The Man Shake has very supportive social media for people that are using it as well so support and motivation is always there to help get you through the harder times.
